Kuiper Siberians is a small hobby kennel just getting started. My dogs participate in AKC conformation dog shows, mushing, and various sports to prove their quality in structure, in harness, and in temperament. I follow the philosophy of "quality, not quantity" and am slowly building my kennel and reputation to ensure I truly stand behind my dogs with careful and knowledgeable decisions.
I have many wonderful and experienced breeders that help me along on this journey, to whom I am eternally grateful. I started attending dog shows well before I was ready to bring home a puppy and that was one of the best decisions I could have made. This allowed me time to learn from many great people in our breed, get to know many dogs and their lines, learn about the intricacies of health in our breed, and eventually led to exactly the dog I was hoping to start my program with. Currently, I own one breeding prospect, but my goal is to expand our sled team gradually and thoughtfully.
QUICK INTRO
My utmost priority in my breeding program is the dogs' health and producing wonderful, sporty temperaments with sound structure. I truly believe the Siberian Husky should live up to their description as a "willing worker" and "eager and agreeable companion," as described by our breed club.
